Position Description:
The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for growing profitable sales in a particular territory and / or industry. This individual will have full responsibility to develop assigned accounts and to identify and develop additional prospective accounts.

The Manager will combine people management skills, project management skills and independent sales skills to generate, nurture and win new business.

Account Manager will work closely with in-house marketing, engineering and project management in order to prospect new business, win business, and complete projects in an efficient, time-sensitive manner.

Routinely engage with Architects, Engineers, Consultants and End Users to assist in the planning and design of new infrastructure and / or retrofitting of Westmatic Large Vehicle Wash Equipment.

Account Manager will receive support from technical and administrative resources, but is ultimately responsible for all deliverable's including but not limited to; project pricing estimates / calculations, quotations, sealed bids, RFP's, engineered drawings, equipment technical specifications, customer contracts, execution of contracts and project kick-off meetings.

Account Manager should actively on his own initiative analyze the company's position in the marketplace and make suggestions for changes, improvements and other measures necessary to develop the Company's sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Prospect new business through in-house lead generators and telephone calls

·         Carefully review customers' needs, requirements and expectations

·         Perform site visits and project meetings Nationwide as needed

·         Work with engineering department to overcome any project challenges and find solutions

·         Provide presentations for consultants, architects, engineers and end users Nationwide as needed

·         Provide all deliverable's (Quotes, Bids, RFP's, Engineered Drawings, Specs, Contracts, etc...)

·         Attend industry-specific trade shows and events as directed by Sales Manager

·         Provide sales forecasts as directed by Sales Manager

·         Create customized proposals for quotation

·         Read, review and execute sales contracts with customer and / or contractors

·         Stay abreast of market conditions regarding products, product updates, service offerings and new technology through available resources

·         Responsible to increase the market share and expand customer base

·         Responsible for distribution channels within his/her territory and / or industry

Requirements:

·         Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications or related field; MBA Preferred.

·         Minimum 3 years outside Sales and / or Project Management experience

·         Engineering or construction industry experience desired

·         Willingness to travel Domestically as assigned, potential International travel as assigned

·         Proven success in prospecting and developing a territory and / or industry

·         Proficient in the use of a computer and related software, (Word, Excel, etc...) including utilization of customer relationship management system (CRM).

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong problem solving skills

·         Excellent negotiating skills

·         Finance and basic accounting skills

·         Ability to manage a high-volume workflow

·         Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented and fast-paced environment

·         Strong, professional and entrepreneurial work ethic

·         Valid passport

·         Driver's license | Must have and maintain a clean driving record

·         Preferred candidates reside in Western, NY area
